Promotional Products the nuts and bolts!

We all have promotional products in our homes, offices, desks, drawers, and even our purses, but what exactly is a promotional product?

A promotional product is defined as an item that is used to promote a product, service or company program including advertising specialities, premiums, business gifts, awards, prizes, or other imprinted or decorated items.

Promotional products are a big part of the advertising industry, actually its more than a 19.4 BILLION dollar industry, this is according to the 2007 PPAI estimate of promotional products consultants sales. This is an annual study that is conducted by researchers at Louisiana State University and Glenrich Business Studies.

The industry has grown at a tremendous rate over the past 15 years, in 1993 the promotional products industry was 6.2 billion dollars, now that is still a lot, however the industry has more then tripled in 15 years. Now that is telling you something. Companies are recognizing how important promotional products are to their business and they are realizing that they need to integrate them into their advertising and marketing campaigns.

So do not miss out, start out small hand pens out to your customers, just get your name on a promotional product and get it into the hands of a customer or potential customer. You will see the return, history is not wrong, promotional products work!

Clothing Makes the Person

You see them everywhere...imprinted t-shirts, hats, aprons, jackets, sweat shirts and sweat pants and all with a creative design. Think about every shop or restaurant you go into and start looking at the employees, most of them are wearing some sort of item with the company logo on it. Its a way of the company branding themselves as well as protraying a professional appearence, it also makes the employees look unified. It's also a great idea to give your clients items to wear that has your logo on it. Either something as simple as a hat or T shirt will keep your clients wearing them long after you give them away and giving other people the opportunity to see your logo, it's like having your customers advertise for you, for FREE, and we all LOVE free!

So think about for your next promotional campaign. Wearable apparel is one of the most popular types of promotional product. Think about different types of apparel, like jackets or even footwear to really make your message stand out from the crowd.

Professionally Personalized Hits the Presses.

Professionally Personalized hits the press. Check out this article written about us. Business helps others get personal

Company offers various novelty itemsBy AMANDA LLEWELLYNVIEW STAFF WRITER
Ordering in bulk is not always better.
At least, that's what Mountain's Edge residents and marketing specialists John and Shannon Sholtz said they believe.
The pair are owners of the home-based Professionally Personalized, a business that specializes in advertising and marketing through a selection of novelty items.
"The great thing about our business is that we can work with large corporations or small mom and pop businesses," Shannon Sholtz said. "We can fill an order for 2,000 or two, depending upon what the business owner needs."
The Sholtzes founded Professionally Personalized earlier this year when they discovered there were not many options when it came to ordering promotional items in the small business market.
"It's sometimes hard on small business owners because a lot of novelty companies require you to order in bulk," John Sholtz said. "If you are the owner of a small pizzeria with five employees, you have no need to pay over a grand and order hundreds of hats or pens that nobody will ever wear, and you could never give away. It was ridiculous. And that's how we found our niche."
The company specializes in catering to the needs of each individual, according to Shannon Sholtz, who also says their selection is quite on par with the larger marketing specialty companies.
"We are a new and small business," Shannon Sholtz said. "But, we have large distributors and a lot of connections, which is why we are the ideal business contact."
Shannon Sholtz said the company can do pretty much anything in terms of orders. She said they also work in close connection with our clients to ensure that they are totally satisfied with the product.
"We talk about their goals and their needs as a business owner to help them decide what will work best for them," she said.
"Do they want pens that they can give away? Is it a promotional give away? Or do they want T-shirts for employees to wear for self-promotion? These are key factors in helping to decide what is the best approach."
According to John Sholtz, the company's personalization capabilities are not limited only to businesses.
"We can work with families and people who are interested in having something unique for a wedding," he said. "Family reunions, office parties, we can do it all. If you want a family picture on a mouse pad to give as a gift at Christmas or personalized water bottles at your wedding reception, we can help you get there."
