With promotional products of course!
Well, let me explain- you can implement an incentive program to help those employees who need a boost in their sales as well as push top sellers to reach for the stars.
Top sellers should be rewarded for their time and efforts, and attention needs to be paid to times when employees are in the office or traveling for business, so what you and your client gives should reflect those needs.
To motivate employees who have slumping sales a great leather multi piece desk set can be offered, with a different piece given each week for the most sales in a week or the most improvement shown in a given week.
Top sellers will be working round the clock so an extra special timepiece would be the perfect desk accessory. When employees are making sales on the go, a leather briefcase or laptop bag is perfect and very useful.
Extra incentives that are great to always have on hand are higher quality pens (god knows every good sales person needs a great pen to sign contracts) Also safely kits are great for your sales staff that is on the go in the car.
Its important, especially right now, during these rough economic times to reward your employees, its hard enough to find good sales people, so hold on to the ones you have, nurture and train them and reward them when they perform.
This is just an example of some great products that your sales staff will find useful and will help them do their jobs better and strive to make it to the top level!

Promotional Products the nuts and bolts!
We all have promotional products in our homes, offices, desks, drawers, and even our purses, but what exactly is a promotional product?
A promotional product is defined as an item that is used to promote a product, service or company program including advertising specialities, premiums, business gifts, awards, prizes, or other imprinted or decorated items.
Promotional products are a big part of the advertising industry, actually its more than a 19.4 BILLION dollar industry, this is according to the 2007 PPAI estimate of promotional products consultants sales. This is an annual study that is conducted by researchers at Louisiana State University and Glenrich Business Studies.
The industry has grown at a tremendous rate over the past 15 years, in 1993 the promotional products industry was 6.2 billion dollars, now that is still a lot, however the industry has more then tripled in 15 years. Now that is telling you something. Companies are recognizing how important promotional products are to their business and they are realizing that they need to integrate them into their advertising and marketing campaigns.
So do not miss out, start out small hand pens out to your customers, just get your name on a promotional product and get it into the hands of a customer or potential customer. You will see the return, history is not wrong, promotional products work!

Do people actually use promotional products?
Everyone one has promotional products sitting on their desk, or in their purse, or in their house. Promotional products are all around us, the next time you pick up a pen, look at it, I guarantee it will have a company's name or logo on it.
Promotional products have been proven to be the most successful type of advertising, even more successful then TV ads, or billboard advertisements.
73% of people who had a promotional product said they used it at least once a week, and of that 73% 45% of people used their promotional product once a day, and over half of all people who have promotional products will keep that product for at least a year. A year! That is a long time, that is your company logo in front of your potential customers for 365 days. Where else can you get that kind of exposure for the price that a promotional products costs?
The key to making sure that your audience holds onto your promotional product is making sure that it is a useful product. If your audience is bankers or loan officers, give them something that they would use in their jobs everyday, calculators, pens, highlighters, or calenders. It would not make sense to give them a Frisbee, because they are not going to use that on a everyday basis, its going to get stuck in a drawer, you want it on their desk where they can see your info and use it everyday and think about how they should call your company for their needs. Because they don't have to go online or look in a phone book for a phone number they next time they need the service you provide, all they have to do is look at their pen, or their calender, or their calculator and pick up the phone and call you.
So order your promotional products, you do not have to spend a lot of money- just get a useful product for your target audience and get it into their hands.
